Teenagers and Electronic Gadgets
These days a lot of people think that teenagers use electronic gadgets way too much. It always appears to them that we are totally addicted to screens. And honestly, judging from statistics and personal experience, they are kind of right. Recent studies show that attention spans have been rapidly decreasing over the last 5 years or so, and scientists link this short attention span directly to the consumption of social media and short-form content.
But how did they jump to that conclusion? Well, platforms like TikTok or YouTube shorts allow you to consume a lot of information in the span of just one minute or even less. We just get used to this type of content because it is short and “easily digestible”. But just like how overprocessed food like chips or McDonald’s is bad for your body, the same way short form content is like a junk food for your brain. This overstimulation slowly destroys your dopamine receptors and makes you crave even more.
So what is the solution? Well, many people deal with this problem in different ways. Some go cold turkey and delete all socials, others try to replace the bad habit with a healthier one. In my opinion, the best way to recover is to stop consuming passively. Reading books is a great way to start because you give your mind more time to actually understand the information.
Of course, electronic gadgets are nоt necessarily something bad. We would nоt get to where we are now if it was nоt for the easy access to information on the go. For example, just minutes before a test, teenagers can simply google the subject and save the day.
Unfortunately, many students my age prefer to use this powerful tool just to scroll on TikTok, play games, post pictures on Instagram, and let AI do their homework. In conclusion, technology is a good thing, but we just need to learn how to control the algorithm before it starts to control us, unless it already has.

Teenagers and Electronic Devices
Many people seem to think that teenagers spend too much time using electronic gadgets. While it is true in its very nature, the answer is complicated.
Since the beginning of the century there has been a rapid rise in consumerism and use of technologies. Companies started producing more, better and newer electronics. Rich people began buying, celebrities started advertising and so the people bought.
The environment was shaped and the environment shapes its dwellers. To buy the best and newest, became a symbol of status, a proof of wealth.
It is easier to get information from an electronic device than from a book or magazine and people are lazy by nature “Why pick a hard path, when there is an easy one”. No one wants to be let out and so all teenagers use electronics and everything in large amounts which is harmful. But it became modern and popular.
Sadly, we as people cannot solve this issue. The only people that can are the ones who started it in the first place. The large corporations, the tycoons and the celebrities, they will not stop until it affects them personally or until it stops making them money.
Yes, teenagers spend too much time using electronic devices, however it is nоt entirely their own fault.

Time Spent on Electronic Gadgets
One of the biggest problems of the new generation is being too addicted to all sorts of electronic gadgets. The problem is even worse with teens and small children because they cannot understand how bad it is for them to look at a screen all day.
In my view, one of the main solutions is in the hands of parents, who can set a limit for their children. However, many kids learn a way to get around the rules and still use their phones. Schools should take away students’ phones and give them back at the end of the school day. In this way, students will talk more with each other and learn more because there will not be any distractions.
On the other hand, electronics are not bad because they help you get information quickly and keep up with all the things that are happening around you. But being on a device all day is not good either.
In conclusion, electronic gadgets can be helpful if you use them responsibly.

Addicted to Electronic Gadgets
Many people think that teenagers spend too much time using electronic gadgets. I mostly agree with that statement, as the longer teens spend with said devices, the more problems begin to appear.
Spending too much time on gadgets, like phones, tablets and computers could make people lazier. Since they are easily entertained by what is on the devices, they have no motivation to do anything else, for example, housework or sport. This means that they do not want to do homework at all, and they might skip doing it. What is more, using electronics can make a teenager unhealthy if used too much.
One solution would be to introduce new hobbies to a teen, so they have something entertaining to do, instead of looking at a screen. Some activities can also make a person fitter and healthier.
Another solution, which I would only recommend if nothing else works, is to set a limit for time spent on a gadget. It can be 2, 3, 4 hours or however long the parent thinks is appropriate.
However, keep in mind that when doing that, a teenager can come to think of their parent as a “control freak”, or in other words, someone who wants to control somebody else’s life. That is why I would not recommend that solution to come first.
In conclusion, there are many problems coming from too much use of electronic gadgets, and there are solutions, but some are quite risky.

The Problem with Electronics
Nowadays, I feel like teenagers are spending too much time on electronic gadgets. Years ago, they used to go outside all day, now they are at home all day playing on their computers or mobile phones, which is harmful.
Many people seem to believe that this is becoming a real problem in society, and I completely agree! Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones are very bad for their health, especially at a young age. Teenagers usually use electronics for a long time in one sitting, and due to the brightness, this can easily cause eye problems. Another problem is that electronic gadgets cause radiation, which is really bad for the brain.
I strongly believe that schools should focus a little bit more on subjects that get students to exercise more, for example, P.E., and also start teaching them about how dangerous their electronics are. I also like to believe that some parents who do nоt put a limit on their children with electronic gadgets are also part of the problem.
The problem with electronic gadgets is getting bigger and bigger, however, nobody seems to be doing anything about it! I hope people start taking this more seriously and find ways to solve it as soon as possible!
